Customer Journeys in a Digital World

The conference aims to bring together and facilitate the interaction and lively discussions among leading scholars that have been conducting high-quality empirical research in the domain of customer journeys. This years’ program is promising to be excellent, as we have confirmed keynote speakers such as Harald van Heerde (UNSW, Australia), Peter Verhoef (University of Groningen, Netherlands), Koen Pauwels (Northeastern, US). In addition, we have 10-12 presenters with their presentations on different topics in the broad area of customer journeys.

Hotel Accommodation

Participants are to arrange their own lodging. The following two hotels hold rooms at university discount rate for conference participants.

1) Eden Hotel****
Amstel 144, Amsterdam

The Eden Hotel holds a number of rooms until June 8th. The room rate for a standard room is € 136,- (single use) and € 151,- (double use), per room, per night including VAT, service & breakfast buffet but excluding 7% city tax. In addition to the 7% city tax a fixed amount of city tax at € 3,00 per person per night is applicable. These rates are valid for the nights of 21, 22 and 23 June 2020. Additional nights, if required, are offered upon availability and other rates may apply. If you have any questions about the cancellation policy, please contact the hotel.

Hotel Le Coin holds a number of rooms until May 1st. The room rate for a standard room is € 131,- (single use) and € 134,- (double use), per room, per night including VAT, service & 7% city tax, but excluding breakfast (€ 16 per person). Arriving and leaving Amsterdam

Schiphol airport is best reached by regular train service. The 15-minute train ride leaves every 10 to 15 minutes from Amsterdam Central Station, which is a 5-minute taxi ride from the conference venue. It is a 10 minutes walk from Central Station to the conference venue. A taxi from the conference venue to Schiphol airport would take about 25 minutes.

Public Transport

You can buy train tickets from the yellow machines at the railway station. Some machines take credit cards and/or coins, some machines only take Dutch bank cards. For other types of public transport (bus/metro/tram) you will need an electronic transport card (“ov chip card”).
