Coronavirus information

We will continue to follow the basic measures and advice given by the Dutch government regarding the coronavirus. This way we can reduce chances of infection, especially for those who are more vulnerable.

Are you a Dutch (prospective) student or staff member? See information in Dutch.

Basic measures

National COVID measures have all been lifted but the basic recommendations remain in place: keep 1.5m distance if possible, cough and sneeze in your elbow, wash your hands regularly, avoid shaking hands.

Do you have symptoms?

Check for more information.

Vaccinations and self tests

It remains important to be vaccinated and to take a test when you develop symptoms. Self-tests are available at the building entrances on campus or you can make an appointment via

International students

Find more information here. Do you have a specific question about your situation, please contact the education office of your faculty or the Central Student Service Desk.

Hybrid working

Working from home and hybrid working will remain possible at the UvA. You can make agreements about this with your team and manager. Check the staff website for tips, guidelines and the UvA policy on hybrid working.
